Elisa Birnbaum, founder
and principal of Elle Communications, has been working
as a freelance journalist, producer and consultant for
over 10 years. After graduating from an honours program
in political science, Elisa pursued a degree in law
from both the University of Montreal and Osgoode Hall
Law School in Toronto.

Over the years, Elisa has
amassed a varied portfolio of articles published in the
Globe & Mail, National Post, PROFIT Magazine,
Elle Magazine, Law Times, Via Destinations, Medical
Post, Microsoft Home, Canadian Jewish News and
other publications. She is also a regular contributing
writer for CharityVillage, a site dedicated to the
non-profit and charitable community in Canada.
Most recently, Elisa
co-founded the first blog and magazine dedicated to
social enterprise and entreprenership in Canada, SEE
Change.

consultant, Elisa has worked with a number of
organizations in the financial, retail, leisure and
not-for-profit sectors, producing a variety of PR and
corporate communications material. Some of her past and
present clients include: Brock University,

ReStructure Non-profit Consulting, Centennial Infant
& Child Centre, VoicePrint Canada, Campbellford
